2007 SILVER COMET TRAIL 10K a PB at 52:50. I had SO hoped for a sub 50 but I really just don't see that ever happening! Quite pleased with my personal best of 52:50.
It was a GREAT race as usual. Rain was falling when we left home but fortunately by the time we reached the race destination it had stopped -- at least in that part of town. The temperature was great for running, high 40s I believe.
Went to the BIG Peach Running Co. afterwards to pick up some "official" ING GA Marathon race ware. So, we are pretty much set for that. A 10-mile run next Saturday and then we will taper from there.
Up this week: 4 5-mile days and 1 4-mile day with a 10-mile run (probably my last 2 laps around the Rock for a while) on Saturday.
